D.E. Oprava

D.E. Oprava is an American writer who has been in over one hundred journals online and in print. He has three full-length collections of poetry: VS. with Erbacce Press 2008, American Means with American Mettle Books 2009, and his third, sole, with Blackheath Books 2010.

He holds a BA in International Studies, an MS in Political Science, an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction, and is completing a PhD in Poetry at Swansea University in the UK.

He has lived in ten US states and three European countries. When he isn’t writing he is trying to live up to the high expectations of husbandhood, fatherhood, and humanhood. Not necessarily in that order and occasionally succeeding.
