In 2003 Katerina Rudcenková was awarded the Hubert
Burda Prize for young Eastern European poets.
Katerina has published three books of poems and a book of
stories. Her poetry, prose, photos and reviews have appeared
in numerous newspapers and magazines, including Convorbiri
literare (Romania), Dum (Austria), Host, Lidové noviny,
Manuskripte (Austria), Mladá fronta Dnes, and Tvar.
In 2004, her play "Frau in Blau" premiered in
Cinoherní studio Ústí nad Labem. Recently,
she is one of two Czech poets to be featured in "A
Fine Line: New Poetry from Eastern and Central Europe" (Arc
publications).
