The world's getting smaller and the once isolated pockets of creativity are now beginning to connect into a wider international network. Alchemy would like to contribute to this bridge building worldwide activity by this "one small brick" - a page listing poetry readings, performance series or open mics from around the world. • Vienna, Austria - Labyrinth
  Founded in September 1993 by Peter Waugh and Karin Kaminker at the Academy of the Schule für Dichtung in Wien. Contemporaneous foundation of the poetry journal subdream. First meeting took place on October 25th at Café Westbahn, attended by some 5-10 people. Further meeting at cafe´s thereafter at private homes.

• Budapest, Hungary - The Bardroom
  Budapest’s English-language LIVE poetry, music and comedy show! Alchemy had the pleasure to welcome Bardroom's organizers and poets in May 2003.

• Amsterdam, Netherlands - The Open Stanza
  Amsterdam's monthly, international stage for the written & spoken word, host to poets & writers from around the world and right next door.
