Peter Robinson and Tom Phillips

Peter Robinson has been writing since 1968, and has published many volumes of poetry, translations, imaginative prose, and literary criticism. He has been awarded the Cheltenham Prize, the John Florio Prize, and two Poetry Book Society Recommendations, most recently for his latest collection The Returning Sky (Shearsman Books, 2012). A Professor of English and American Literature at the University of Reading, he is also poetry editor for Two Rivers Press.


Tom Phillips is a poet, playwright and journalist living in Bristol. His poetry and other writing has been published in a wide range of magazines, anthologies, pamphlets and on the internet. His first substantial poetry collection, Recreation Ground, has just been published by Two Rivers Press (2012). His plays include Hotel Illyria (Tobacco Factory, Bristol), Man Diving (Ustinov Studio, Bath) and solo show I Went To Albania (Bristol Old Vic). Tom is currently studying towards a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Reading.
