Journal Keepers

Journal Keepers is a Prague-based collective comprising of singer-songwriter, Daniel Gallaha and a string quartet. The group played for the first time at Manchester's Night and Day Café on 22nd January 2009 and have gone on to play major festivals in Manchester and Liverpool in 2010 before moving to Prague.
Their name is taken from a much-loved Sonic Youth song, Skip Tracer. The group takes as much influence from Romantic classical music as music from the grunge and britpop bands of the early 1990s. Their anything goes approach means that the listener will be taken on an unforgettable ride that will cross genres as well as eras.
