Journal Keepers is a Prague-based collective comprising of singer-songwriter,
Daniel Gallaha and a string quartet. The group played for the first
time at Manchester's Night and Day Café on 22nd January 2009
and have gone on to play major festivals in Manchester and Liverpool
in 2010 before moving to Prague.
Their name is taken from a much-loved Sonic Youth song, Skip Tracer.
The group takes as much influence from Romantic classical music as
music from the grunge and britpop bands of the early 1990s. Their
anything goes approach means that the listener will be taken on an
unforgettable ride that will cross genres as well as eras.
