After
nineteen years in Illinois and thirteen in southern California, Carrie
Etter moved to England in 2001, where since 2004 she has been
a lecturer in creative writing at Bath Spa University.
Her poems
appear in such journals as The Iowa Review, The New Republic, Poetry
Review, and The Times Literary Supplement, and in June Seren Books
published her first collection, The Tethers, which Glyn Maxwell describes
as "sorrowing, glad, graceful...a rich and significant debut."
